Whether it's for Day-to-Day maintenance, Bridal, Travel, or Special Occasion, we work hard to give our clients the look they desire, and take pride in providing great service.
Meet Our Founder - Tiwanna J.
In 2009 Tiwanna decided to leave a career in Corporate America to pursue her dreams of working in the world of beauty and fashion. After a bit of research and not knowing exactly which direction to go in she decided to attend beauty school to pursue a career in skincare.
Tiwanna attended and graduated at the top of her class as an Esthetician from The Salon Professional Academy (Now PCI Academy in Plymouth MN). After graduation, Tiwanna went on to further her education by receiving certifications in Makeup Artistry, Waxing, and Lash Extensions. Her years of expertise and training gave her the opportunity to work as a Makeup Artist for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics in the Downtown Macy’s Minneapolis location as well as assist as Freelance Makeup Artist in various fashion shows, photoshoots, and weddings.
In 2012 while working as a Makeup Artist, Tiwanna decided to start a part-time career as a Lash Extension Specialist. She started out renting space at a local salon (Tangled Beauty Parlor) to hone her skills. After just two short years of working part-time as a Makeup Artist and Lash Extension Specialist, she decided to go full-time as a Lash Extension Specialist and in 2014, opened Tweak the Glam Studio in the North Loop area of Minneapolis and has since then flourished in the industry.
Tiwanna believes that it is important to make her clients look their best and that everyone should feel special before and after each service. Her love for fashion, colors, and staying updated on the latest trends, bring out her vivid imagination which inspires her to think creatively and work with each and every client to personalize each and every one of their looks.
Tiwanna has a diverse background in beauty and makeup, working with various skin types and skin tones. She has a passion for fashion and a love for the beauty industry and training. Whatever the occasion Tiwanna is always ready to create something beautiful.
